COPPERLEAF: General Contracting & Construction Management

Why safety is important.

With large-scale residential building in Manhattan, the Copperleaf team gained first-hand experience with the human and cost impact of safety. Our Founder is a federally-certified, OSHA (Occupational Safety Health Administration) Construction Outreach Trainer and has completed New York City DOB (Department of Buildings) Site Safety Manager training. It’s these credentials and experience that make safety a fundamental point of difference for Copperleaf.

Safety can run the gamut, not only from human safety requirements but also to the materials, methods and processes we use in our projects. It simply means fewer accidents.

When a contractor incorporates safety into every project, insurance is typically lower and that directly translates into lower costs for the client. That said, we can’t put a cost on a human injury or life and it’s this principle that guides us to make safety first.
